Saved from the Edge: Household Welcomes ‘Magical Pup’ Who Dodged a Grim Destiny at the Eleventh Hour.

A cute pit bull named Strawberry, also known as the “unicorn dog,” has finally found her forever home after going through a lot of struggles. The two-year-old dog was transferred from one shelter to another and even faced the possibility of being euthanized due to a bump on her head. However, luck was in her favor as a loving family from South Pasadena adopted her and gave her a new lease of life. When she arrived at the La Belle Foundation shelter in Los Angeles, it was evident that she had been through a challenging time. But now, Strawberry is the sweetest dog ever, showering her family with love and affection.

In a post on social media, the rescue organization stated that the young canine has undergone a lot of hardships. Her face is swollen, she has goopy eyes and terrible scratches all over her body. Additionally, she has two enormous lumps on her head. Initially, animal shelters believed that one of the lumps was a tumor and had planned to euthanize her. However, further tests revealed that it was just scar tissue from an old injury and did not pose a danger to her life.

After Strawberry had fully recuperated and was fit for adoption, the Kuhlman clan from South Pasadena stumbled upon her online and instantly fell in love with her. Kristen Kuhlman, the head of the family, felt an inexplicable connection with her, revealing that she had been looking for a home for quite some time. The family took their time to think about it, but they couldn’t resist her charm and kept seeing her on the adoption website.

After experiencing the sadness of losing their 15-year-old dog, the family decided to adopt Strawberry and shower her with love and attention. According to Claire Kuhlman, one of Kristen’s twin daughters, Strawberry is a great snuggler who loves to cuddle and even lay on top of people. She is also described as being quite big and hefty.

The Kuhlmans were astounded that the dog they had come to love so much was nearly put down. They couldn’t help but wonder how the bump on her head came to be, and believed it was one of the reasons why she wasn’t adopted sooner. They affectionately named her “Strawberry” and decided to keep the name because it suited her perfectly.

The head of the family, Jeff Kuhlman, shared that their pet dog’s name is Strawberry, which they sometimes shorten to “Strawbs” due to its lengthy syllables. They stumbled upon a leash with strawberry prints, and it all seemed to fit perfectly. The children, on the other hand, expressed how they love spending time with their new furry friend by playing fetch and cuddling with her after school. Strawberry’s unique bump on the head also gained her some admirers in the neighborhood, with people rolling down their windows to say hello to the beloved pooch. Kristen Kuhlman added that their dog is loved by many individuals.
